Schedule of Fees

In line with the APS schedule of fees 2024-2025, a standard 46-60 minute session is $300, with Medicare rebates available for eligible clients on a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Department of Veteran’s Affairs clients and Emergency Service (i.e., Police, Fire, Ambulance) personnel will be bulk-billed through Medicare. Current serving Australian Defence personnel can request appointments through ADF Bupa.

Psychological Assessment

The fees for an assessment vary depending on the referral question and the number and type of assessments required. Therefore, it is best if you call to obtain a quote on 0499 624 714.

Cancellation Fees

Clients are informed of this policy at the time of booking and acknowledge the need to pay a late cancellation or reschedule fee when filling in their initial consult information sheet. They will receive a text message 72 hours prior to their appointment which also reminds them of their appointment.

Please provide more than 48 hours notice on business days in order to avoid cancellation fees. If cancellation occurs within 2 business days of the appointment then a cancellation fee will apply. Note that cancellation fees may apply even for unavoidable sickness. If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment you will be charged a Did Not Attend Fee and your appointment will be cancelled. Cancellation fees are as follows:

Psychological Intervention Cancellation Fees:

Cancelled with less than 48 business hours notice but more than 24 hours notice = $141

Cancelled with less than 24 business hours notice = $250

Did not attend/No show = Full cost of session

NDIS Cancellation Fees (Based on NDIS schedule of fees):

Cancelled with less than 48 business hours notice = Full cost of session

Medicare Rebates and Mental Health Treatment Plans

As a registered Medicare provider, individuals with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their doctor are able to receive a rebate of $141.85 per session. Upon visiting your doctor or GP, they will make an assessment about whether you are eligible for such a plan, and may refer you to a psychologist. Eligible clients are entitled to up to:

10 individual sessions with a psychologist per calendar year; plus

10 group therapy sessions with a psychologist per calendar year.

You will need to have your Mental Health Treatment Plan before you come to the first session with your Psychologist in order for your rebate to be processed.
